Meet The Counselors

Mrs. Edwards

This is Mrs. Edwards fifth year as the School counselor at Sinclair Elementary.  She enjoys working and helping students be the best learners. Mrs. Edwards is a graduate of George Mason University. She is married and lives in Woodbridge. She has three daughters and a dog name Lilo.


Ms. Rodriguez




Ms. Rodriguez is excited to join Mrs. Edwards at Sinclair Elementary School on Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays. This is her first year as a school counselor in Prince William County Public Schools. She is proud to be a first-generation college graduate and she received her Masters in Education and Human Development from the George Washington University. Prior to working as a school counselor, Brianna worked in the United States Senate on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. and also worked for an advocacy organization for working families. She enjoys encouraging her students to dream big because they can do anything they set their minds to!

Career Fair scheduled for June 3rd
Career Fair - Friday, June 3rd

On Friday, June 3rd from 9 am- 2 pm the school counseling department will host a Career Day for all K-5th grade students to learn about different careers in our community. We would like to invite parents to share about their career with students. Please contact Ms. Rodriguez if you would like to participate in the career day. (Rodrigbr@pwcs.edu).

Pennies for Patients 2016

Thanks to the families, students, and staff that donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society / Fighting Blood Cancer. This is our 5th year supporting LLS.
Sinclair raised $2,349.00 toward the fight again blood cancer. Our top four classrooms were; 1st place Mrs. Rusiecki, 2nd place Mrs. Stephenson, 3rd place Miss Pettgrew and 4th place Miss Moscoso. Congradulations to all the classrooms that supported this program!!!

Middle School Information Dates
Stonewall Middle School:
Counselor will visit with Rising 6th graders on Tuesday, April 5 at 8:20 am in the Library.

Bull Run Middle School:
Rising 6th grade Information Night for parents and students will be on Tuesday, April 26th, @6:30 pm. Come learn about BRMS, Take a tour , try the lockers, and buy gym clothers and BRMS spirt wear.

This Friday the Student Council encouraged students and staff to dress up for school spirit day called "Opposite Day". The next school spirit day will be "Cultural Day" and held on Friday, March 18th


Kindness Challenge Winners
These are the classrooms that completed the Kindness Challenge. They received a certificate and will be joining in on the "Get Up and Move for Kindness" dance on Friday, March 4th
